Executive Chef Matt Lyon

Chef Matt Lyon was born and raised in the Berkshires and made an early start at his culinary career as a teenager. During a summer stint running the kitchen for his sister’s restaurant, he first gained a passion for cooking. Since then, Matt has traveled around the country working for some of the most reputable chefs in Vermont and Colorado. In 2009, Matt landed on Cape Cod where he became the head Chef at Lost Dog in Dennis. He quickly knew the Cape was his home. After seven years, he decided to expand his repertoire and moved to the Brewster Fish House where he built on his creative and innovative style with a French technique. With over 15 years of experience, Matt takes a fresh and modern approach to New England coastal cuisine, using local ingredients to ensure the finest quality in each and every dish. Chef Lyon is eager for friends, family, locals and visitors to “get hooked”!
